Part 1: Character Selection

(Group Assignment - Due Thursday, Oct 29) 25 points

• Within your team look over all of your sketches and select one design that you will use to create your designer toy. As a team decide on what changes you need to make (color, accessories, size, shape, make it more appealing, etc.)
• Develop 2 more characters that will complement that design or 2 more characters based on that design.

Part 2: Company Logo

(Group Assignment - Due Thursday, Oct 29) 25 points

• Select a Company name and create a logo. I recommend that you try to select a name that is related to your products.
• Develop 5-10 sketches before you select one.
• Design needs to be able to be able to be reproduced in Black and White as well as colored.
• Design needs to be able to be reproduced at 1 inch as well as 8 inch.
• Critique - Place your designs on the whiteboard by the time the tardy bell rings.

Part 3: Blog

(Group Assignment - Due Thursday, Oct 29)

Start adding content to your group blog.

• Create a Title Banner
• Select a layout
• Upload the following items to blog:

1. What is a designer toy assignment
2. Individual Sketches
3. Final Character Design Sketches
4. Logo Sketches
